To begin, I'd like to get started by thanking you for visiting the blog. It's been a pleasure and an experience serving my tooling customers for over 3 decades now. I got started in the grinding business very early, at age 19, and just married, I decided to quit my college path and enter into the workforce. (hah, sounds a little crazy writing about it now...) I was on a mission to support a growing change that was coming within the cabinet and wood cutting tool industry. Cutting tools were being designed with a new product called Carbide. Saw blades and Router bits and many others were now being manufactured with carbide Brazed to the tools edges for longer life. The way tools were being manufactured and ground for sharp edges was changing rapidly, this knowledge was unfamiliar to woodworkers. I created a livelihood spending time learning, testing and educating customers, bringing exciting new cuttimg tool developments and wood equipment to the table. I was not only teaching my woodworking clients--I was also constantly developing my own manufacturing and grinding concept and technique. Grinding wheels, grit sizes, special grinding equipment, coolants, feed speeds, tool geometry and tool design were all major factors to an outstanding product...
